Business Apprenticeship Employer of the Year Award

Who should enter?

Open to employers from all sectors, the Business Skills Apprenticeship Employer of the Year Award celebrates employers who can showcase their commitment, contribution and the success that Apprenticeships have brought to their organisation and apprentices.

To enter, Applicants must be based in England and have had a Business Skills apprentice/s within the last 12 months, or have an apprentice who will have completed their apprenticeship by the 01 November 2014.

To be considered for the award, applicants must have apprentices who have completed, or are currently working to complete one of the following Advanced or Higher Apprenticeships:

  • Court, Tribunal & Prosecution Operations
  • Customer Service
  • Enterprise
  • Fundraising
  • Hospitality Management

  • Social Media & Digital Marketing
  • Team Leading
  • Volunteer Management


How to enter

Applicants must read these entry guidelines carefully before they complete the Business Skills Apprenticeship Employer of the Year application form.

The closing date for entries is 12 November 2014. Entries received after this date will not be accepted. The winner will receive notification on the 14 November 2014 and the award will be presented at the Graduation Ceremony on 19 November 2014, at Central Westminster Hall, London

Prize

The prize for the award consists of a certificate and £750.

Completing the form

Judges are looking for exemplar employers who can showcase their on-going commitment, contribution and the success that Apprenticeships have brought to their organisation and apprentices.

Make sure you give the judges hard evidence. Include examples of best practice which makes your organisation’s Apprenticeship programme better than the next.

Applications now allow you to attach supporting evidence. This allows you to include a chart, table or graph to help demonstrate metrics such as statistics, quantifiable information and comparative data. Remember to provide a base line to show how you have progressed as an employer of apprentices.
