Meet our new Chief Executive
By: Skills CFA
As part of the Instructus group of education charities, we appointed a new Chief Executive and Chair on 13 June to see us into a new era for apprenticeships.
David Holland has been appointed CEO of the Group following nine years as a Trustee, and six as Chair. David has been supervising the affairs of the Group since December last year. He has a wealth of business experience spanning more than 40 years, with 28 years working at Director level. His appointment follows a rigorous, independently managed recruitment process.
Our new Chair, Kathy Woodward, has been a Trustee for four years and has enjoyed a distinguished career within the Education, Media, Telecommunications and Environmental Sectors. She is currently CEO of the British Printing Industries Federation.
Jane Beine has been appointed Vice-Chair. Jane has been a Trustee of the Instructus Group for nearly six years, and is a senior executive within the John Lewis Partnership.
David Holland said: “I am looking forward to taking the organisation forward and building on its strengths to meet the challenges of a new landscape following the implementation of the Richards review. We have a very talented and resourceful team who do not lack ambition, and it will be a pleasure to continue to work with them.”
